It’s been one hell of a ride these past few months, getting to now, this very point in time. Right here, right now. This is me, Angela Jones, Raw Chocolatiere.
I’ve been playing with chocolate for a while now, and once I made the decision to share my love for this magic deliciousness, there really wasn’t anything to stop me.
Not one to hold back once a decision has been made, literally as the feet are plunging into the cold water, it’s full steam ahead with all barrels loaded and both guns blazing !
Somehow, by the grace of – well, all the Gods combined, really, I have launched a brand new product in just 2 short months, whilst working full time, parenting and commuting – and at possibly THE craziest time of year to entertain such a notion !
We brand launched at the SkyCity Christmas Market on November 26, and held our first in store chocolate sampling at our Naturally Organic launch in Albany on December 2nd. And what a week it was !
I’ve laughed, I’ve screamed (mostly in my head), I’ve cried about the silliest things – and the most beautiful of songs. I’ve laid down chocolate slabs at 3am, and gotten up 3 hours later to take it to market, came home and did it all over again. It’s been a rollercoaster ride that I will never forget !
The ultimate highlight of my first week was being told “I can tell your chocolate is made with love, I can taste it”. You know it !
From the spectacularly random encounters at the most amazing times, to the simple satisfaction in seeing my new baby bloom so fast, I embrace it all, with my feminine fire, in the full light of the Super Moon, and I say LET ME AT IT !!
